Clash

clash, bang, whir, bing: the aharmonious sounds of a shipyard, with ships under repair… Lots of ships after that last battle with Libra,

Scout

I looked around at the large scout camp I’d been sent to for the summer. I sighed wondering how I was going to live though 9 weeks of shared sleeping quarters…

Scout

I looked over the area wondering if I was going to find anything worth reporting. My trip had thus far been less than useful — this patch of the asteroids had plenty of the basics and nothing-

Roses

Roses… he always loved Roses, red petals on the bed, red flowers tracing my body… red, blood red for his Little Dragon.

Saved

I never realized how hard he worked for us, to turn 3 scragglly abandoned boys into solid adults… but now looking at him — old before his time…

Finish

I don’t want this to be finished to wonder and wait for whats next this is soft.. safe and easy.. I don’t want to come out of my cucoon.. it warm and safe in here.

Simplify

“simplify — you can’t take this much with you.” I never had trouble following that advise on physical baggage, why is it so much harder for mental?

Commotion

Rattles, bangs, mutant powers tring to bring the place down around us — and my teaches wonder why why work is so poor? I’d chalenge them to do homework in this caphony.

Advance

He sat waiting for the advance — shivering as he wondered if it was going to be enough for the bills — the rent, the heat, the things he needed to do his job

Advance

He wondered he did how they were ever going to make any kind of difference if they ccouldn’t even pay their own water bill. how had not being the oppressed turned into being simply another group of kids stuggling to survive

Final

Finals were here again, and Todd groaned at the piles of work his teachers were handing out. It wasn’t that he couldn’t do the work, rather there was just too damned much of it.

Forward

I pressed forward into the crowd, hardly noticing the stares and gawks my skin got me, Only wanting to get closer to see him, maybe speak to him - the man who’s work brought me to write.

Dedicate

The young man looked back at the group of freinds he’s spent so long with… dedicated most of his teen years to — the only family he knew here now watching his graduation.

Little Details

For a challenge on the Bloody Ink ML:

Write five small details about any comic characters. Should be no more than a sentance or two each.

Kitty Pryde wasn’t a virgin when she joined the X-men and now she wishes she had been.

Despite the number of times Mort’s said, ‘TV is nothing but Normal scum,’ every Saturday Morning, chaos permitting, you’ll find him in front of kids cartoons.

Todd (Evo Toad) loves to draw — anything & everything — and none of his ‘brothers’ has even noticed.

Charles has a recuring nightmare of Erik in Spock’s role from the end of Star Trek II. It’s bothered him since the first time he saw it, long before Joseph’s sacrifice.

The one sin Rayne dares not admit to anyone: she’s done it shapeshifted — and not just with humans.
